Safeguarding at Blundeston CEVCP School

Safeguarding is a key priority at our school.  Sections 157 and 175 of the Education Act 2002 place a statutory duty on Governing Bodies of maintained schools to have arrangements in place to ensure that they safeguard and promote the welfare of children, including the Prevent Duty.  As part of these arrangements, schools need to have a safeguarding policy and procedures in place which are followed by all staff and volunteers, reviewed annually by the Governing Body and adhere to statutory requirements and Local Authority guidance.  Please see our Safeguarding Policy under the "About Us/Policies" section.

Values at Blundeston

From September 2016, the Governors and staff at Blundeston CEVC Primary School have agreed to focus on, and promote, the following values: Hope, Peace, Creativity, Truthfulness, Trust and Responsibility. These values are reinforced through the broad and balanced curriculum, collective worship and the school's Christian ethos.
