The School Council consists of two elected representatives from each class (apart from the Reception class who are represented by their teacher). They meet each term and the agenda for the meeting consists of items that the Council have had brought to their attention by their peers, items that the staff would like them to discuss and ideas from the confidential "suggestions" box.
Mrs. Wolfson helps the children to organise the meeting and also contributes the views of the children in Reception. Feedback is given to the staff at their staff meetings and to Governors at Full Governing Body Meetings.
Recently, our School Council members have helped run the stalls at our Macmillan Cake Sale, organised a times table challenge for the children and attended a Governors' and staff meeting to talk about being a pupil at the school and their aspirations for the future.
